Gerald L. "Jerry" Bair, 78, of Chillicothe, died Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.

He was born December 6, 1934, in Ross County to the late William and Willetta (Stein) Bair.

He was predeceased by his brothers George, Richard "Dick," and Charles Bair; and an infant sister Lois Bair.

Jerry was a graduate of Catholic Central high School, Class of 1954. He was a US Marine Corps Veteran and retired from DuPont Chemical as a supervisor following 34 years of service. He was a member of the VFW Men's Auxiliary; American Legion, Post 62; the AMVETS, Post 4; and the B.P.O.E., Lodge 52. He enjoyed fishing, vacationing in Myrtle Beach and photography.

Military graveside services, conducted by the Ross Co. Veterans Honor Guard, will be held at 9:30am Saturday, November 16, in St. Margaret Cemetery. Friends may call from 5-7pm Friday at Haller Funeral Home.
