Xavier David Aguirre, is the second child born to me and my husband Matthew David Aguirre. He was a very wonderful baby when he was born. He weighted 5lbs 6oz, he was very tiny and a very big fighter. We were unaware of his heart condition the day he was born. We were told he was in great health and could go home.
After two weeks of having him home we noticed he was breathing very heavy, we thought he was catching a cold. He was due for his 2 week check up, so we were not too worried. When we went to his Dr. and he told us, he was fine and that we just needed to get his blood work done at the local hospital. At the Lab in the Plano hospital is were we found out that something was really wrong. After being in the ER for about 4 to 5 hours we were rushed to Children's Medical Center in Dallas. While riding in the ambulance on the way there he flat lined one time and they brought him back. We stayed at Children's hospital from Feburary the 4th to the 18th when he passed away. He Had open heart surgery On the 14th to repair the hole and to place the shunt in his heart. Unfortunately all the hard work was just to much for his little heart and body to handle. We allowed him to go to heaven after 4 days of being really sick from the surgery. It was very hard, but we know that he is better off, he will never have to deal with the pain and sorrow that we deal with here on earth. He is with GOD now,I am thankful for the time I had with him. He is greatly missed and we look at photos all the time. Daddy, mother, big brother Isaac and baby sister Zoe wait for the day that we will all be together again, We Love you!
