Roanna Broage Brumage (there are many spellings of her maiden name) married Truxton Ford in 1828. They had at least six children: Rebecca b. abt 1830, Sylvester b. 1832-1920, Mary A. b. abt 1835, Henry C. b. 1837-1920, and William H. b. 1840-1916, Minerva M. b. abt 1844 all born in Ohio, probably near Taylor township (1850 Census Truxton name was spelled Heston and Roanna spelled Rod A). Roanna is buried in the Ford Cemetery. Her grave site is the oldest and believed to be on land settled by her husband in 1849. Research on the family is ongoing.
