Ollie was the daughter of Kelly C. Campbell and Mary 'Mollie' Holman. Her siblings were Daisy V., Ida Jane 'Janie', Edith Pauline and half-brothers Allen, Donnie, Kelly and Kenneth.
She married James Anderson Akers on August 28, 1910 in Rayville, Ray County, Missouri. They had no children.
Mrs. James (Ollie) Akers died Monday, Jan 23, at the home in Richmond. Mrs. Akers would have been 93 on March 2.
Mrs. Akers was found lying on the living room floor, she apparenly had been dead for several hours.
She had been a resident of Rayville for many years, before moving to Richmond in 1969, after the death of her husband.
She is survived by four half-brothers, Allen, Donnie, Kelly and Kenneth Campbell; and three nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Mrs. Janie Ward; Mrs. Daisy Teegarden; and Mrs. Pauline Cox.
Funeral services were held Thursday at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Burial was in the Old Union Cemetery, rural Lawson.
