Page 8, "History of North Lewisburg, Ohio – 1826-1976", under the heading of "Streets", "Audas Street running south from Maple to the corporation line, was named for William Audas, a prominent citizen and proprietor for that part of the village in the year 1867." William Audas died in 1867.
