Tony was born on December 20, 1969 in Albuquerque to Rudy and Petra Acosta. Tony was the youngest of seven children.
Tony leaves behind his fiancée, Genevieve and three sons, James, Patrick and Anthony Jr. Also surviving are his brothers and sisters, Frank Acosta and his wife, Anna, Patsy Reed and her huband, Mike, Raymond Acosta and his wife, Irene, George Acosta and his wife, Jennifer, Leroy Acosta and his children, Joann Acosta and children, 18 nephews and nieces and other relatives and friends.
Visitations will be today from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited this evening at 6:00 p.m. at San Ysidro Catholic Church in Corrales. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. also at San Ysidro Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Ysidro Cemetery. Casket bearers will be James Chávez, Daniel Acosta, Amber Reed, Sean Acosta, George Acosta Jr., Leroy Acosta Jr. and Francesca Gonzáles.
