Cleo Ann Antrillo, 65, a resident of Tucson for the past one-and-a-half years and former 25-year resident of Las Vegas, N.M., passed away on Jan. 7, 2008, in Tucson, Ariz., following an extended illness.
She was born in La Veta, Colo. on July 23, 1942, to the late Pete Martinez and Sofia Fresquez Martinez.
She loved God will all her heart and going to Church and was always reading her Bible. She loved her children and grandchildren and was always there for anyone. She always tried to lead someone to the Lord. She was a hard worker, loved to sew and do puzzles and most of all she loved to dance. She was loved by everyone and a mother hen to everyone.
She was a member of the East Drive Baptist Church in Las Vegas, N.M.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Pete and Sofia Martinez; husband: Clarence Antrillo; son: James Antrillo; sister: Dora Casados; brothers: Louis Olguin and Leo Montoya.
She is survived by her son and daughters: Nick Antrillo and wife Celestina of Tucson, Frances Romero and husband Johnny of Las Vegas, N.M., Annette Hamblin and husband Rodney and Vicky Antrillo all of Tucson, Patricia Lopez and husband Steve of Las Vegas, N.M. and Viola Holguin and husband Eric of Nashville, Tenn.; grandchildren she raised: Patrick Antillo and wife Clarissa, Frank Romero and wife Amanda, Sofia Antrillo and Stephanie Antrillo; 11 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; brother: Pete Martinez and wife Jo Ann of Denver; sisters: Bernice Thiessen and husband Jerry of Illinois, Cora Martinez, Marie Rodriguez and Elsie Sanchez all of Colorado Springs, Colo., close niece: Christine Rodriguez and husband Lorenzo of El Paso, Texas; numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Prayer services will be conducted Friday at 7 p.m. at the East Drive Baptist Church. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. at the East Drive Baptist Church with Pastor Louis Holguin officiating, and the eulogy to be delivered by Eric Holguin. Interment will follow at the Masonic Cemetery, Las Vegas, N.M., with the following serving as casket bearers: Patrick Antrillo, Ruben Hernandez, Louis Holguin, Frank Romero, Nathan Hernandez, Robert Madrid and Steve Lopez, Jr. Serving as honorary bearers will be: Steve Lopez, Sr., Johnny Romero, Eric Holguin, Lorenzo Rodriguez, Rodney Hamblin and James Lopez.
