Mr. Bomar passed away Saturday, March 28, 2015 at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas following an illness.
Services will be held in House, New Mexico.
Stephen was born December 22, 1953 in Clovis, NM to the home of Dick O'neal Bomar and the former Mary Iona Glenn. He grew up in House, NM and attended House Schools.
He married Dona Kay Swartz in Lubbock, Texas where they made their home for many years.
Stephen worked as a building contractor for 30 years, he owned and operated Bomar Construction. He also farmed and ranched.
Stephen is a U.S. Army veteran.
Stephen enjoyed riding motorcycles in his younger years, he raced Enduro motorcycles.
He is preceded in death by his wife Donna Kay Bomar in 2013, his parents, and a brother Buckley Bomar in 2006.
Survivors include a brother Tim Bomar of Clovis, three sisters Dickie Bomar of Winfield, KS, Jackie Bomar of Palm Springs, CA, and Charlotte Bomar of House, NM along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
