Beloved mother, grandmother, Carolina Maria Amaro, 79, of Aztec passed away on Sept. 23, 2004, at San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington. Carolina was born Dec. 8, 1925, in Albuquerque to Juan and Andreita Candeleria.
Carolina is survived by two sons, John and wife, Cynthia of Florida, and Richard and wife, Teri; three daughters, Lucy and husband, Jesus Chavira, Sally and husband, Jack Norton, all of Aztec, and Connie and husband, James Willis of Florida; sister, Christy and husband, Ismel Mora, 13 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.
Her parents, husband, Ernesto and daughter-in-law, Ginger Amaro preceded Carolina in death.
Carolina deeply loved her family and enjoyed spending time with all of them. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Rosary will be recited by Father Joe Blonski on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2004, at 7 p.m. at Cope Memorial Chapel of Aztec. Mass of Christian burial will held Monday, Sept. 27, 2004, at 10 a.m. with Father Joe Blonski as celebrant. Burial will follow at the Aztec Cemetery.
Pallbearers are James Willis, Jack Norton, Fabian Amaro, Jorge Maldonado, Manuel Varela and Jesus Chavira.
Arrangements are entrusted to Cope Memorial Chapel of Aztec (505) 334-9332.
