Born in Banks County on July 16, 1909, Mrs. Anderson was a homemaker and a member of Welcome Home Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Lula Dickerson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence E. Anderson; and daughters, Mary Sue Anderson Hicks, Martha Anderson Mannikko and infant daughter, Lula Kathleen Anderson.

Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Joe and Polly Anderson, Norcross, James and Delores Anderson, Tucker, Paul and Theresa Anderson, Flowery Branch, Simon and Janet Anderson, Mount Airy, and David "Andy" and Emily Anderson, Cornelia; sons, John A. Anderson, Toccoa, Harold "Bud" Anderson, Baldwin, and Daniel Anderson, Eastanollee; daughters, LouEllen Anderson Rich, Mount Airy, and Judy Anderson Tanksley, Clarkesville; daughter and son-in-law, Lee and William Thompson Jr., Marietta; 39 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; and 29 great-great-grandchildren.
