Services for Jeanette Alston, a retired Dallas schoolteacher, will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Dallas.
Miss Alston died Wednesday at Doctors Hospital. She was 94.
The lifelong Dallas resident graduated from Southern Methodist University, where she was a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority.
She taught in the Dallas Independent School District for more than 40 years, first at Boude Storey Junior High and then at Adamson High School.
At Adamson, she was a Latin and math teacher.
Miss Alston also was the Adamson yearbook sponsor and directed several senior plays.
Survivors include two nieces, Lula Tanner of McKinney and Jane Miski of Bellevue, Wash.; and two nephews, Jeff Horn of Fort Worth and Bill Julian of Calgary, Alberta; 17 great-nieces and great-nephews and numerous great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
