In William Davidson's "Pine Log And Greek Revival", he states...Mick Adams served during the War Between the States in Company "A" 10th Confederate Cavalry, Wheeler's Corps, Kelly's Division, Anderson's Brigade. He was wounded at Missionary Ridge.
After buying "The Homeland", he operated an early type of cotton gin for the plantes of the area.
