Thelma Evelyne Brumbalow, age 68, of Adairsville, GA who passed away Saturday, September 12, 2009 at her home. She was born on December 10, 1940 in Fannin County to the late Kit and Ollie Patterson Payne. Mrs. Brumbalow was a homemaker and a member of Hipps Chapel Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Brumbalow; brother, Avery Payne and sister, Gladys Botts.

She is survived by a son, David Brumbalow of Roswell, GA; two daughters, Jo Ann Garvin of Bremen, GA and Donna Tate of Adairsville, GA; two brothers, Herbert Payne and Rev. John Henry Payne both of Epworth, GA; seven sisters, Martha Jones, Mary Robinson, Christine Foster, Cleo Pelfrey all of Blue Ridge, GA, Mattie Botts of East Point, GA, Elva Ricketson of Morrow, GA and Kathy Maxwell of Ozark, AL; five grandchildren, April Tate Silvers, Jessica Tate, Jeri Tate Callahan, Ashley Jose and Sandra O’Kelly; one great granddaughter, Emily Rosie Silvers also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, September 14, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from the Akins Chapel with Rev. John Henry Payne officiating. Interment will follow in the Patterson cemetery. Pallbearers will be Michael Garvin, Jerry Tate, Ken Silvers, Jack Maxwell, Marvin Botts and Paul Husstetler.
