O.C. Adams, 79, prominent farmer of Montrose, died at a local hospital this morning after an illness of several week. Funeral services will be held at Montrose Methodist Church, Sunday afternoon with Rev. J.E. Townsend of Dublin and Rev. J. E. Buchanan of Dudley officiating. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery in Dublin. Mr. Adams follows his wife in death four months and five days. Prominently identified in politically circles in Wilkinson County where he was born and reared. Mr. Adams served for a long number of years as justice of Peace and later taught school for several years before moving to Laurens County thirty fours years ago. He was a member of
the Methodist Church. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. T.R. Napier, Montrose, two sons, W. C. Adams, Allentown. Todd L. Adams, Macon. Eight grandchildren, W. C. Adams, Jr., Macon, John Oscar, Mayleen, Sara, Rosalyn, and A. W. Adams all of Allentown and Rentz. Martha and Betty Napier, Montrose.
