Kenneth R. "Ken" Alexander, age 66, of Cumming, passed away April 14, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Betty, his son and daughter-in-law, David and Kim Alexander of Roswell, and his mother, Sarah Alexander of Alpharetta. Ken and his son established Alexander Printing in Roswell in 1988 where he served as Vice President. Previously he had retired after 30 years with AT&T working in Engineering and Sales. He was a member of the Alpharetta and Roswell Chapters of the Optimist Club serving in local positions in both chapters and as a Lt. Governor and other positions at the state level. He loved playing golf and was an avid sports fan. He loved working in the yard and doing his own landscaping. He was a beloved husband, father, and son and was loved and admired by extended family and friends. The family will receive friends Friday, April 16, from 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Roswell Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Saturday, April 17, at 2:00 p.m. at the Roswell Funeral Home Chapel, with interment to follow in Melwood Cemetery, Dr. D.B. Shellnut, Jr. and Rev. John Wolfe officiating.
