Brenda Seitz Luke Godwin of Jacksonville, Fla. died Saturday, August 26, at Shands Hospital in Jacksonville, following an automobile accident.
She was born in Sandusky, Ohio and her parents were the late Edward L. Seitz, Sr. and Patricia Marie Adams Seitz. She was employed as a screen designer for a window company and was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband, Franklin Gregg (Bo) Godwin, Jacksonville; a son, Christopher Luke, Jacksonville; a daughter, Erica Luke, Brunswick; a granddaughter, Lila Luke, Brunswick; two sisters, Rochelle Brogdon (Howard), Brunswick and Pam Bullard (Ivey), Nahunta; five brothers, Edward L. Seitz Jr. (Ofelia), Corpus Christi, Texas, Frank Seitz (Carolyn), Charleston, SC, Patrick Seitz (Marianna), Waynesville; Vernie Moody (Sherry) and Silas Moody (Tonya), Brunswick; her step-mother, Eleanor Seitz, Brunswick and an aunt, Kathy Patterson, King's Mountain, North Carolina.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. (Today) Wednesday, Aug. 30 (2000), from the Chambless Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. John Hundley officiating. Interment followed in the Highsmith Cemetery in Waynesville. Pallbearers were Ronnie Bullard, Travis Bullard, Addis Travis and Ryan Bullard.
Chambless Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
