Violet C. Andrews, 81, of Woodville, passed away February 26, 2005, at the Tyler County Hospital.

Born January 22, 1924, in Colmesneil, TX to Buford and Catherine Day Bradshaw, she lived in Port Arthur, Fannett, and Lumberton before moving to Woodville.

She was a member of the Ladies V.F.W. Auxiliary, and the Order of The Eastern Star in Jefferson County.

Mrs. Andrews is preceded in death by her husband, William Earl Andrews, Brother, Grady D. Bradshaw, sister, Audrey Johnson, and a grandson, Mark Adam Roberts.

She is survived by her loving family, a daughter, Jo Ileen Taylor of Colmesneil; brother, James Buford Bradshaw of Indian Springs; grandchildren, Melody Blair of Colmesneil, Rebecca Roberts of Woodville, James Drake of Colmesneil, and Jolanda Gibson of Dallas; thirteen great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2005, at 1 P.M. at the Egypt Cemetery near Colmesneil. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 9 A.M. until 1 P.M. at the Riley Funeral Home in Woodville. Riley Funeral Home 95 Hwy 190 West Woodville, TX (409)283-8131
