Mrs Inez Cook Cheshire
Mrs Inez Cook Cheshire of Chattanooga, Tenn. formerly of Colquitt died Sunday, June 19, 2011. Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at 11:00 am at Cooks Union Methodist Church. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 28, 2011 from 10 to 11 am at Cooks Union Methodist Church.
Mrs Inez was born on September 27, 1915 to the late James Monroe II and Irene Grimes Cook. She was a member of First Centenary United Methodist Church where she was a former teacher of the Friendship Sunday School Class and a member of United Methodist Women. She belonged to Chief John Ross Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution , a graduate of the University of Georgia and a retired teacher.
She is survived by her children, Dorothy Shaw Daly of Haddonfield NJ and Carole and August B. Thau of Signal Mountain. Grandchildren, Laura Irene and Travis Hartman of Lookout Mountain, Ga., Joseph and Kathy Daly of Drexel Hill, Pa., and Kyle and Nancy Daly of Haddonfield, NJ. Great Grandchildren, Caroline Maura Daly, Garrett John Daly, Robert Shaw Daly and Duke Thomas Daly and several nieces and nephews from Colquitt and Southwest Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Shaw Cheshire, grandson, John Shaw Daly, son in law, Robert Joseph Daly, two brothers and their wives, Clyve Monroe and Mary Alma Cook and James Seaborn and Sarah Cook.
