HOUSTON - Jeremias "J.J." Barrios, 28, formerly of Dimmitt, died Sunday, May 24, 2009.
Prayer services will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today in Colonial Funeral Home. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Abundant Life Family Church in Dimmitt with the Rev. Tom Mullins, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Castro Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Barrios was born Aug. 29, 1980, in Hereford. He grew up in Dimmitt, where he was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Gabryella Barrios of Brady; his mother, Mandy Oltivero of Dimmitt; his father, Joe Barrios of Houston; five sisters, Evelyne Barrios and Wendolyne Barrios, both of Houston, Barbara Oltivero of Marble Falls and Marissa Oltivero and Priscella Oltivero, both of Dimmitt; and three brothers, Juan Jesus Oltivero of Abilene, Jeremy Oltivero of San Antonio and Michael Oltivero of Dimmitt.
