Iva Irene Herren was born June 6, 1919 at Round Spring, Mo. and passed away July 22, 2009 in Springfield, Missouri at the age of ninety years.

On February 6, 1937, Iva Webber was united in marriage to William Clinton Herren and they were the parents of eight children.

She was a life long member of the Fairview Church, loved praising the Lord, and reading her Bible. She enjoyed crocheting, working word puzzles, flowers and plants.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Thomas and Della (Enloe) Webber; her husband, William Clinton Herren; one grandson, Dennis Pyatt, one granddaughter, Kathy Abanatha; one great grandson, Daniel Abanatha ; one son in law, Joe Ivie; and all her brothers and sisters.

Survivors include eight children: Estalie Warren & husband, Jack, Salem, Missouri, Rosalie Schoen & husband, Everett, Salem, Missouri, Della Crocker, Arnold, Missouri, Barbara Ellen Ivie, East Prairie, Missouri, Darlene Burnham & husband, Larry, Eminence, Missouri, Tommy Herren & wife, Jerra, North Aurora, Illinois, Becca Matthews & husband, Jack, Phoenix, Arizona, Jinny Self & husband, Dean, Joplin, Missouri; seventeen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and ten great-great- grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives, and a countless number of neighbors and friends.

Funeral service for Iva Herren was July 24, 2009 in the Wilson Mortuary Chapel Salem with Bro. Charlie Younger officiating. Music was by the Current River Bluegrass. Serving as pallbearers were: Joe Ivie Jr., Ben Ivie, Brian Burnham, Brent Lanham, J. D. Peterson, and Cliff Grenier. Honorary pallbearers were: Zachary Ivie, Tracy Herren, and Daniel Pyatt. Interment was in the Weese Cemetery.
