He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Belle Hatley Atwood of Wardell; One son, Daryl G. Atwood of Vandenbery Air Force Base, Calif.; One daughter, Norma Sue Turnage of Hayti; Two brothers James A. Atwood of Howell, Mich., and Charles C. Atwood of Lewiston, Mich.; Two sisters, Margaret Knight of Doniphan and Mary Hampton of Louisiana, Mo.; And four grandchildren, Daryl Lawrence and Thesa Starr Atwood, Johnna Sue Folz and Chris Turnage.
Services were July 25 at Wardell Church of the Nazarene, the Rev. Elmer Brunton officiating, with burila in Wardell Memorial Cemetery, Jimmy Osburn Funeral Home of Wardell in charge.
