Beulah Gaston Chapman
(February 19, 1928 - August 2, 2016)

Beulah Gaston Chapman, 88, of Blackwell, Texas, passed away at her home on Tuesday, August 2, 2016.

Graveside service will be on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Decker Cemetery with Reverend John Curry officiating.

Beulah was born to parents Ollie Henry and Mary Lea Gaston on February 19, 1928 in Blackwell,TX. She went to Blackwell High School. After high school, Beulah went on and became a Licensed Vocational Nurse. She worked for over 40 Years at Roscoe Hospital, Simmons Memorial Hospital and Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Blackwell,TX, where she also voluteered many times. Beulah loved to go to Blackwell High School Football games. She loved playing dominoes with her family, loved doing puzzles, loved wind chimes, humming birds and flowers. Beulah loved nursing. Beulah most of all loved her family and she loved living life.

Survivors include: Son-Randy Chapman and wife, Gayla, of Vernon, TX; Grandson-Tom Chapman of San Antonio; 2 great-grandsons-Daulton Chapman and Mitchell Chapman; 1 great-granddaughter-Kyleigh Chapman; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Chapman (1965); her two daughters, Marguerite "Monty" Hahn and Vesta Lee "Sis" Wilson; her son-in-law, Don Wilson; and her siblings, L.D. Gaston, Cliff Gaston, Fred Gaston, Kell Gaston, Margaret Gaston Cole, Marie Gaston Romine, G.K. Gaston and Bob Gaston.

Honorary pallbearers are Hoppy Sedberry, Skipper Gaston, Wayne Woodard, Tommy Cornelius, Tommy Bledsoe and Roy Allen Cole.

There will be a family visitation on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 1st Baptist Church in Blackwell, TX from 8:30 until 9:45 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, Beulah wanted donations be made to Decker Cemetery (1801 CR 273 Maryneal,TX 79535) or to charity of choice.
