George Ailport died Sunday afternoon at a local hospital at the age of 45 years. His home was at 3015 South 11th Street. He belonged to the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and Firemen and to Tahoma lodge, F. & A. M.
There are surviving him his wife, Mrs. Gladys Ailport; two daughters, Opal and June, and a son, Cleo, [this is a mistake in the obit. Cleo was their daughter, not a son.] all of Tacoma; a sister, Mrs. Lottie Bedore, and two brothers, Harry and Hubert Ailport all of British Columbia.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3 p.m. at the C.C. Mellinger company chapel under the auspices of Tahoma lodge and with Rev. R.H. McGinnis officiating. The body will be entombed in the Tacoma mausoleum.
