Services Held Saturday for W.S. Alldredge
Funeral services for William Samuel Alldredge, 71, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Primitive Baptist Church. Elder Jesse Bass of Austin, assisted by Elder Dennis Taylor, officiated.
Alldredge, a retired farmer, died at 10 p.m. Thursday in a Lubbock Hospital. Burial was in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of King Funeral Home.
He was born in Falls County in East Central Texas. Most of his life was spent in Crosby and Dickens counties.
Survivors include his wife, Stella; three daughters, Mrs. Thedford Fry, Spur; Mrs. Charlie Hudson, Channing; and Mrs. Donald Gowens, Crosbyton; three sons, Marshall Alldredge, Georgetown; Walker Alldredge, Washington, DC; and Max Alldredge, Spur; his mother, Mrs. G.W. Alldredge, Crosbyton; four sisters, Mrs. Drucilla Spivey, Mrs. W. W. Barrington, and Mrs. Nora Livingston all of Crosbyton, and Mrs. Jesse Bass, Austin; 14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
