Services for M. A. Adams, 89 of Lubbock will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 31, 2008 at Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton with Rev. Wendell Horn officiating. Burial will be in Crosbyton Cemetery under direction of Adams Funeral Home.

M. A. passed away Sunday, January 27, 2008 at his home in Lubbock. He was born May 13, 1918 in Anson, Texas to the late Malcom Albert and Eula Cornelia (Ingle) Adams. He married Fern Egbert who preceded him in death. He then married Lillian Elliott on March 2, 1991 in Crosbyton. Mr. Adams was a Methodist and served in the Army Air Force as a pilot during WWII. He is preceded in death by two brothers; Jim Adams and Charlie Adams and three sisters; Corrie Holcomb, Virginia Aufill and Madeline Fewell.

Survivors include; his wife; Lillian of Lubbock, a son; Lierd Elliott Grant of Green Cove Springs, FL, a daughter; Loretta Mae Palmer of Provo, Utah, eight grandchildren,16 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews including Delores Baker, Gloria Adams, Gwen Reed, Jackie Holcomb, Patsy Mosby, Don Aufill, Opie McNeill and Jimmy Adams.

Visitation will be prior to the service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Adams Funeral Home in Crosbyton.
