Ezra J. Albright, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. A. R. Albright, was born in Manheim Township, February 23, 1898, and died at his home in Hanover, Pa., January 30, 1927, aged 28 years, 11 months and 7 days.
Mr. Albright was a young man of exemplary habits and gentle disposition. He had just been fairly started in life and with his young wife and child, just beginning to realize the satisfactions of domestic life, when, following an injury in the place where he worked in Hanover, complications undermined his strength, and, after nine weeks of patient suffering, death claimed him.
The funeral was held from the home of his parents in Hanover on Wednesday morning, February 2, 1927, with brief services at the house. The funeral cortege then proceeded to St. Jacob's (Stone) Church, of which Mr. Albright had been a faithful member, where his pastor preached an appropriate sermon from the text, Luke 7:13. In spite of the bad condition of the roads many relatives and friends had gathered for the service at the church. Interment was made in the new cemetery.
