Gertrude M. Bouch, 94 of Mahaffey, passed away Friday, April 18, 2014 at Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

Mrs. Bouch was born September 19, 1919 in Punxsutawney, the daughter of the late Murray and Alka (Baney) McClinsey.

September 4, 1937, she married her husband Paul Bouch who preceded her in death September 15, 1998.

Mrs. Bouch worked at the Clearfield Cheese Plant in Curwensville and she and her husband operated his dairy farm together.

She was protestant by faith and loved to read her bible every day. She was a devoted and loving wife and mother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved the outdors, sewing and crocheting. She will be remembered for her loving spirit and her love of family and friends. Her smile will be greatly missed by everyone who's lives she touched.

She is survived by one daughter; Louise Gigliotti and husband Richard, one son; Sam Bouch and wife Lori all of Mahaffey,RD# 1, two sisters; Viola Covatch of Marion Center, Anna Mae McClinsey of Punxsutawney, three brothers; Howard McClinsey of Reynoldsville, Lewis McClinsey, Murry McClinsey, Jr. all of N. Tonawanda, NY., three grandchildren; Michael Gigliotti and wife Heather of Walston, Lisa Williams of Walston, Brian Bouch of Pittsburgh, five great grandchildren; Shane Williams, Amanda Williams, Jacinda Gigliotti, Giovanni Gigliotti, Jake Bouch, two step grandchildren; Rochelle Reitz, Tanner Reitz and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband Paul, she is preceded in death by an infant daughter; Marlene and a son Dickey Paul, three sisters; Ruth McClinsey, Larue McClinsey, Mary Louise Sturgeon, three infant sisters, two brothers; Clarence McClinsey and Leroy McClinsey.

Friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm Monday, April 21, 2014 at the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney. A funeral service will be held at 11 am Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the funeral home with Pastor Paul Price officiating. Interment is private for family.

Memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Bouch's name to the Mahaffey Fire Company and Mahaffey Ambulance.
