Remington, Ind Jan 4 - (Special) - Leland Barker, 9-year-old son of Mrs Ethel Voyles, was accidentally killed by his brother Frank, 11, who was playing with a 12-gauge double barreled shotgun about 5 o'clock Saturday evening. Hiram, an elder brother, had returned from a hunting trip and set the loaded gun down in the house. While Leland was combing his hair in front of a mirror Frank pointed the weapon at him, called "Halt" and pulled the trigger. The top of the lad's head was blown off and death was instantaneous. The mother and three brothers survive. Short funeral services will be held at the home at 10:30 o'clock Monday morning after which the body will be taken to Romney where funeral services will be held a 2:30 p.m. Interment will be made at Romney.
