Mr. Adams, 64 years old, died Tuesday at VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.
He was born Jul. 11, 1924, in Yell County, Ark., the son of Wilburn and Hettie Cossey Adams. He and the former Mary June Wagner were married Jul. 23, 1948.
He had lived in Mississippi County since 1945. He was a caretaker at Charleston Country Club, and had served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Terry, Steve and Neal Adams; a daughter, Karen Laster; a brother, Walter Adams; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers.
