Shane Anderson, 45, of Kearney, MO, died in a motorcycle accident in Liberty, Mo, on Saturday, July 10, 2010. Michael Shane Anderson was born in Unionville, Mo, on December 30, 1963, the son of David and Linda(Schoonover)Anderson. He graduated from South Lawn High School in Shreveport, LA, and then attended Des Moines Area Community College where he obtained an AA. degree. Shane married Tammy Woodsmall on July 14, 1991, and they later divorced. He worked for Menard's in Des Moines, IA, and for Coca Cola and Continental Beverage. He had worked for the Ford Motor Company plant in Kansas City for the past ten years. Shane was a multi-talented person who had a gift for engraving. He loved to hunt and fish. He was an outgoing and friendly man who never met a stranger and had many, many friends. Shane is survived by his son, Cody Michael Anderson of Garwin, IA, and by his father, David Anderson of Lawson, MO. Two sisters also survive; Candice Smith and ReLinda Anderson, both of Albuquerque, NM. Shane was preceded in death by his mother. Graveside services for Michael Shane Anderson will be at the Lemons Cemetery on Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at 2pm. The cremains will then be interred at the Lemons Cemetery. Memorials may be given for a fund for Shane's son, Cody.
