Services will be Monday for Mary Frances Alexander 85, of Fulton, who passed away Saturday November 23, 1996 at the Columbia Manor in Columbia.
She was born June 20, 1911 the daughter of Louise and Sue Sitton Berfhauser. She married Robert Wise Alexander on August 6, 1933, he died on January 12, 1988.
Mrs Alexander was a teacher at the Missouri School for the Deaf for thirty six yars. She was principal of Stark School when she retired in 1977. She was active in the Fulton Study Club, Friends of the Church hill memorial and was a member of the First Christian Church of Fulton. She was also a member of th Charity Stille Langstaff Daughtes of the American Revolution.
Survivors include two sons, Robert M. Alexander of Camdenton Mo. and John L. (Jack) Alexander of East Peoria Illinois, five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Services were at Hillcrest Cemetery in Fulton with Rev. Raymond McCallister officiating.
Memoial contribution are suggested to the First Christian Church of Fulton or to the Friends of the Churchhill Memorial.
