Graveside services for Imogene Bennett, 76, Dora, Missouri, were Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, at the Hale Cemetery near Dora, MO, under the direction of Robertson-Drago Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bennett died at 10:57 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 24, 2010, at Ozarks Medical Center. She was born July 12, 1933 near Gentryville, MO, to William and Mary Willard Davis. On March 13, 1953, she was married at Ava, MO, to Lloyd Otis Bennett, who preceded her in death on Jan. 2, 1995. Mrs. Bennett was a member of the Dora Assembly of God Church.
She is survived by four children, Jane Poteete of Cherokee Village, AR, Nancy Puckett of West Plains, Caroline Long, husband, Glen of Pottersville, MO, and Brice Bennett of Dora, MO; two stepdaughters, Mary Lou Achziger, husband, Ervin, of San Francisco, CA, and Betty Robinette of Collins, IA; five grandchildren; one sister, Mae Parsons of Mountain Grove, MO; and several nieces and newphews.
Her parents; husband; one son, Kenneth Bennett; one step-son, Robert Bennett; two brothers, Hubert Davis and Everett Davis; and one sister, Betty Leslie, precede her in death.
