Rolland Adams, 64, of Nora passed away early Sunday morning in a Fort Worth, Texas, hospital. Services will be held Saturday, February 2, at 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church in Nelson with Rev. Michael Orsted officiating. Burial will be in the Nelson Cemetery. Klawitter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Rolland Bernard Adams, one of eleven children, was born to William Roy and Margaret Elizabeth Ford Adams, June 16, 1915, on a farm near Oak, Nebraska. He passed away at the All Saints Hospital at Fort Worth, Texas, January 27, 1980, at the age of 64 years, 6 months and 27 days.

He attended school at the Oak Public Schools. His entire life was spent in the Oak and Nora communities where he farmed.

January 14, 1975, Rolland was united in marriage with Wilma Morehead DaMoude at the Christian Church in Nelson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.

Surviving are his wife, Wilma of Nora; two step-daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Joan) Krabel of Hastings and Mrs. Wayne (Betty Lou) Susa of Baker, Montana; two sisters, Mrs. Clare (Edith) Rausher of Nelson and Mrs. Don (Margaret) Reed of Courtland, Kansas; two brothers, John of Superior and Gerald of Hastings; six step-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, February 2, at the Presbyterian Church, with Michael Orsted officiating. Burial was in the Nelson Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ken Adams, ______ Reed, Sam Adams, Mark Adams, Steve Adams and Ed Lynch. Honorary pallbearers were A.C. Lanham, Dale Adamson, Mervin Oltmans, ______ Watts, Duane Ehlers, Bill Karmazin, Bill Lynch, Jerry Lynch and Jim Lynch. "The Old Rugged Cross" and "In The Garden" were sung by Joe Ferebee, with Esther Wehrman as organist. Megrue-Price Funeral Home in Superior was in charge of arrangements.
