Carl R. Adams, 73, Neosho, died at 7:55 pm, Dec. 31, 2006 at St. John's Medical Center in Joplin, following a short illness. Mr. Adams was born July 24, 1933 in Leslie, AR and moved to the Neosho area in 1992 from Montclair, CA. He was a self employed construction worker. Carl married Nellie (Wilson) on Dec. 23, 1960 at Las Vegas, NV and she survives. Additional survivors include four children, Carl O. Adams, Neosho; Sandy Adams, Upland, CA; Leona Yaple and Kathey Lobitz, both of Granby; 18 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren and a sister, Hester of Arkansas. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Laurie Ann Pooler, Dec. 25, 2006.
His parents were Arthur and Bessie L McDaniel Adams. His brother, Noble F. Adams also died in 2006.
