Graveside services for Jack Brewer, Jr., 52 of Diboll, will be in the New Church Cemetery in Apple Springs. Eulogy will be offered by Lewis Ivey.
Jack was born December 11, 1960, in Houston, Texas, the son of the late Ruby (Sparks) and Jack Brewer, Sr. He passed away Thursday, September 5, 2013 in a Houston hospital.
Jack loved his family and enjoyed cooking. He had a big heart, and never met a stranger. He worked as a heavy equipment operator.
Survivors include his son, Billy Joe Brewer; daughter, Stephanie Brewer Smith; sons, Zach Dean, Caleb Brewer, Andrew Brewer and Riley Brewer; sister, Betty Dobbs; brother, Billy Brewer; sister, Shirley Ivey; sisters-in-law, Louise Ellison and Lois Ellison; special friend, Caroline Yanez, and a number of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family members.
In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his brothers, Johnny Ray Ellison, Levy Ray Ellison and Robert "Ben" Brewer; and nephew, Johnny Ellison, Jr.
