MRS. SARAH ACKERMAN DIED
Sarah Trushell was born July 25, 1859 at Scio, Ohio, and died, November 21, 1931, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C.E. Sorter.
She was married to Geo. Riddle in 1878. One child, a daughter, was born to this union, who survives her and who did all that a loving daughter could do to make her last years comfortable and happy. In 1892 Mrs. Riddle was united in marriage to Clarence Ackerman at Clinton. He preceded her to the Land Beyond, about thirteen years ago. She leaves to mourn her loss one daughter Mrs. C. E. Sorter, of Clinton, a step-son, A. D. Ackerman, of Kansas City, Mo.; one sister, Mrs. John Hubenthal, of Gary, Ind.; four brothers, John and James Trushell, Clinton; Henry Trushell, Gary, Ind., and Mike Trushell, St. Louis; one niece, Mrs. Clarence Johnson, Racine, Wisc., all of whom were present during the last days of her illness.
Deceased was beloved by all who knew her, a friend indeed, to those who needed her assistance or sympathy. Cheerfully bearing the burdens of life which had been many for during her stay on earth she will be greatly missed by a host of friends as well as her entire family.
The funeral services were conducted Monday morning at 10 o'clock, at the home by Rev. P. O. Whittle, who spoke many comforting words to the bereaved ones. Mrs. Frank Wilson sang the beautiful songs, "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere," and "Safe in the Arms of Jesus." Interment was in Englewood.
