Born February 9, 1925 in Antwerp, Belgium, she was the daughter of the late August Noel and Maria Noel-Steen.
Mrs. Amann was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. She worked at the Gettysburg College dining hall for many years and enjoyed sewing, cooking, knitting, and crocheting.
Mrs. Amann is survived by her two daughters, Andree Goulet and husband Jack, of Gettysburg, and Annette Kennedy and husband Mike, of Gettysburg; nine grandchildren, John Goulet and wife Sarah, Christian Goulet and sons, Corbin and Airan, Donald Kennedy, Kim Bedard and husband Bob, and their sons, Joe and Nick, Rebecca Kennedy and her children Kirsten, Angely, and Josh, Anne Marie Kennedy and her children Jasmine, Daphne, Isabella, and Aracelli, Dale Deckert and wife Kate, and their children Jordan and Reilly, Mike Deckert and wife Jen and their daughter, Destiny, and Jennifer Monroe and husband Bill and their children, Alexis, Tiffany, Matthew and Kiley; one brother, Joseph Noel, of Belgium, and one sister, Christiane Lennertz, of Belgium.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marie Deckert; two brothers, George Noel and Paul Noel, and one sister, Nora Wolters-Van Der Wey.
