Tracy Leann Ashman, 43, 635 North Middle Road, Newville, died Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014, at her home.
Born Dec. 10, 1971, in Lewistown, Mifflin County, she was a daughter of Fern Swartz of Cassville and Deborah (Moore) Grubb of Huntingdon and a stepdaughter of Joseph Grubb of Huntingdon.
Ms. Ashman is survived by two sons, Craig and Nicholas Steel, both of Newville; her companion, Jeffrey Rambler, Newville; and two stepsons, Colton Rambler, Newville, and Nashton Rambler, Mount Holly Springs.
She is also survived by three sisters, Bobbyjo Buchanan, Lewistown, Cynthia Bailey, Mill Creek, Josie Ellenberger, Huntingdon; and a stepbrother, Larry Grubb, Orbisonia.
Ms. Ashman was a member of the Mill Creek Volunteer Fire Co. Social Club and the Standing Stone VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Women of the Moose Lodge 220, both in Huntingdon.
She was a 1989 graduate of Huntingdon Area High School and earned a nursing degree from Mount Aloysius College.
Ms. Ashman was a registered nurse and was first employed at Woodland Retirement Community, Orbisonia, and then at Quincy Retirement Village, Waynesboro.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 17, at the Robert E. Peters Funeral Home, Huntingdon, with the Rev. Stephen Rambler. Interment will be made in the Mooresville Cemetery, Petersburg, R.R.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 16, and from 9 a.m. until the hour of services Wednesday.
