David Marion Brown, 79, died July 28, 1993 in Mountain View, MO. Born March 30, 1914 in Birch Tree, MO, the son of Burr Oscar and Ollie Mae Wofford Brown, he married Opal Marie Chilton on September 23, 1933 in Birch Tree MO. His parents, one brother and two sisters preceded him in death.
David is survived by his wife, Opal, of the home in Birch Tree, MO; two sons, William Eugene Brown, Minneapolis, MN: and Ronald Robert Brown, Cheyenne, WY; three daughters, Darlene Marie Bias, Versailles, MO; Joyce Gale Brown, Poudre Canyon, CO; and Jerry Dale Hambelton, West Plains, MO; one brother, Robert Wesley Brown, Kansas City, MO; one sister, Hazel Marie Weatherman, Ozark, MO; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
David was a member of the Birch Tree Methodist Church.
Funeral services were held July 30, 1993 at Duncan Funeral Chapel in Birch Tree with Reverend Max Hook officiating. Interment was in the Brown-DePriest Cemetery in Birch Tree, MO.
