Juldene Almond of Bloomfield, the daughter of the late Jim and Opal Lane Long, was born at Bloomfield on June 10, 1926 and died at Bloomfield on Jan. 15, 2002 at the age of 75.
Mrs. Almond had spent all her life in the Bloomfield Community. She retired from Elder Manufacturing Company in Bloomfield in 1985 after working there for 37 years. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was united in marriage to Thurman Almond on Dec. 6, 1941, he survives. Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Mike Almond; by two daughters, Judy Almond and Connie Almond; by two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield.
Funeral services were conducted in the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Chapel with Rev. Kevin Eskew officiating.
Interment followed in the Bloomfield Cemetery with Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield in charge of arrangements.
