LAMAR, Mo. -- Sherrell Daon Bean, 62, of Lamar, Mo., died at 6:20 a.m. Thursday, May 20, 1999, at Barton County Memorial Hospital, following a sudden illness.

He was born June 19, 1936, in Barton County, Mo., to Edgar and Lois Emeline Crites Bean.

He married Patricia Elizabeth Cassatt on Dec. 27, 1956, at Miami, Okla.

Mr. Bean was a farmer.

He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church at Lamar.

Survivors include three sons, Joe Bean of Austin, Texas, and Shaun Bean and Ron Bean of Liberal, Mo.; and five grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at the Grace Lutheran Church with the Rev. Gary Griffin officiating. Burial will be in the Barton County Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today. Arrangements are under the direction of the Daniel Funeral Home, Lamar.
