Birth: Oct. 25, 1926
Death: May 13, 1992

Enlisted in Navy, October 25, 1943. Took boot training at Farragut, Idaho. From there to Los Angeles, CA and assigned to the Hospital Ship, U.S.S. Comfort as a seaman 2nd class. The ship sailed for Pearl Harbor, then on to Australia, Caroline Islands, New Guinea, Admiralty Islands, Palau, Marshall Island, Biak, Philippine Islands, Okinawa, Iwo Jima, Hawaiian Islands, Guam, China, Japan and many other places. On March 28, 1945, the ship was struck by a Japanese suicide plane. He was later a seaman 1/c stationed on Guam. Term of service expires October 1947.
