Funeral services for Clay Willis (Bill) Allen Jr., who died on Wednesday at his home, were held on Friday, Nov. 28 at 2 p.m. at Finch Chapel. The Rev. John Carr officiated,with interment in the Bu dick cemetery.
Mr. Allen was born March 17, 1914 in Canadian, Texas, to Vlay Willis and Clarice Beehee Allen. He was married on June 21, 1941 to Doris Louise (Tioni) Billings, in Nixon, and they made their home at Los Arroyos Ranch near Smiley. He was an insurance executive with St. Paul Insurance Company.
He was a member of the Smiley United Methodist Church and a 50 year member of Nixon-Smiley A.F.&A.M. Lodge No.985.
