LINCOLNTON - Mrs. Juanita Ethelda Black Alexander 75, of Route 6, Box 192-A, died Oct. 20, 1990, at Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, Va. Memorial service is 4 p.m. Wednesday at Carpenter's Funeral Home in Cherryville, with Rev. Joseph Roby officiating. Burial is in City Memorial Cemetery in Cherryville.
Mrs. Alexander, a licensed practical nurse, was a Lincoln County native, daughter of the late Chesley and Mae Allen Black. She was the widow of Howard McGinnis.
Survivors are her sons, Robert McGinnis of Keysville, Va., William McGinnis of Baltimore; daughter, Mrs. Ethelda Shaney of Baltimore; brothers, G.G. Black Jr. of Crouse, Allen Black of Hickory; sisters, Mrs. Lorene Aderholdt of Crouse, Mrs. Beth Mosteller, Mrs. Faye Lackey, Mrs. Camella Buff, all of Hickory, Mrs. Betty Carter of Broken Arrow, Okla., Mrs. Eloise Phillips of Cherryville; four grandchildren.
