Ship's Captain Joseph Logan was the husband of Ann Seton. He died 1837 in England of influenza. Westoe kindly adds that Enoch Donkerley Thompson, Joseph's son-in-law, purchased the burial plots where Joseph and his wife Ann are buried in the now closed Tynemouth Genral Cemetery on Albion Road, at Brightman, North Shields. Joseph and Ann have one known daughter Mary Ann Logan Thompson

Tynemouth General Cemetery opened in 1833 on Rosella Place, North Shields/Tynemouth. Rosella Place is now long since gone.

That cemetery closed in 1936 and the gravestones were cleared away. (So much for "Perpetual Care")
Today the park at Albion Road at the intersection of Brightman Road North Shields is the location of the old cemetery.
