Nancy was the daughter of Archibald "Arch" and Elizabeth Crawford Bowman. She was Benjamin Franklin Atchley first wife. They were married in Jackson County, Alabama on 5 Apr 1868; therefore; married about 53 years at her death. They had no less than 12-children. After Nancy died, B.F. was approximately 83 years old and ironically, he remarried Elizabeth "Bettie" Guffey, FAGM #60638091, daughter of John Henry and Louisa Catherine Walls Guffey.
