Karen Lee Quahlupe, 48, passed away at her home on the Ft. Yuma Quechen Reservation on Sunday, January 5, 2014. She was born on December 13, 1965 to Isadore Quahlupe and Rosemary J. Pasqual. Karen attended San Pasqual School from Kindergarten on and graduated from San Pasqual High School. She spent a year in college in Montana and returned home to begin working in many different jobs until she became a CNA which she chose as her career until she became disabled herself. Karen enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and mother. She loved to play bingo at Paradise Casino and is already missed there. She kept the staff at DaVita Dialysis and YRMC on their toes and we thank them for their care of her.
