Died at age 63 after an illness. She had a large funeral down near Indian Creek.
The wife of Ah Tom (AKA China Tom), she kept house and had many friends.
Her husband, proprietor of Ah Tom's Store, was a prominent Iowa Hill businessman mine supervisor, leader in the Chinese community, and very respected by the entire population of Iowa Hill. He died in 1901 of rheumatism. John Pappa had the honor of escorting his body to San Francisco, where he was shipped to China for burial.
