Mary E.
dau. of D.J. & A.M. Haynes
Died Sept. 13, 1862 age 1 year, 2 months, 6 days

Daughter of Amanda Dimond Haynes (1835-1902) and Daniel J. Haynes (1822-?).Amanda was buried at New Hope Cemetery across the road.

Daniel was a farmer and minister, who disappeared from records after the 1870 Census. The 1874 plat map showed D.J. Haynes in Crane Creek Twp., Section 22, 120 acres.

The 1880 Census showed Amanda as a widow, but no information has been found on Daniel's death. Did he die or leave her?

He and Amanda had at least nine other children: Frances Jewell (1853-1920), Charles (1856), John (1858), William (1860) Emma (1862), Edward (1865), George W. (1867), Oscar Robert "Ott" (1871-1967), Roy E. (1874).
