Rev. Wilmer A. Hartman, a Lutheran clergyman, died at 6 o'clock Saturday at his home in Middletown, Md. He had been ill for a number of weeks, during which he had undergone treatment in several hospitals. His illness was finally diagnosed as ulcers of the heart. He was 48 years.
He leaves his wife who, before marriage was Miss Lula Snyder, of Arendtsville, and two daughters. He also leaves these sisters and brothers; Mrs. L. H. Rice and Mrs. Hiram Lady, of Arendstville; Edgar Hartman, of Beudersville; George Hartman, of Biglerville; Harvey Hartman, of Salem, Virginia. The body was brought to Arendtsville on Wednesday.
Interment in the Arendtsville Cemetery.
